Hardware Support
Warranty support is provided by Regional Centers and Field Service Engineers located in targeted coverage areas around the world. Normal business hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
ESI’s standard system warranty includes:
- Phone Support
- Onsite Repair
- Calibration/Alignment
- Parts Replacement
- Preventative Maintenance
- Onsite or Factory Training
Towards the end of the warranty period, an opportunity is presented to continue product support through ESI’s Comprehensive Support Program, an all-inclusive plan designed to maximize uptime. Each program is targeted to maintain systems at optimal operating levels through planning, online and phone support, parts availability and on-site services. Preventative maintenance strategies included in the program provide for regular review to help ensure that your system is operating at optimal levels of performance.
ESI warranty and contract support is supplemented by operation and maintenance training targeted as a “best practices” prerequisite for all internal support personnel. Classes are available from certified ESI instructors at the ESI factory, or may also be scheduled onsite at the customer facility to minimize personnel down time and maximize training attendance. Applications Support
As part of a solutions oriented production environment, ESI Applications Support focuses on pre-sale requirements definition, production readiness at installation and ongoing, dedicated development and deployment of new tool applications to meet emerging customer requirements. These highly customized programs are focused on efficiency and designed specifically to maximize throughput of ESI equipment.

Onsite Services
ESI onsite services define a focused segment of strategic parts for each system that are required on hand to help achieve targeted productivity requirements. Rapid access to on-site spares is a critical component for maximizing uptime, reducing work in progress, and increasing output.
Requirements analysis and program definition for onsite services are considered by request on an individual, case-by-case basis, to ensure adequate flexibility to meet customer needs.
Advanced Exchange (AE)
The AE Program calls for the replacement of non-working parts, providing the fastest possible availability for customers that need a critical part and cannot wait for the repair cycle. Advanced Exchange offers customers more flexibility to selectively lower parts costs in a way that best accommodates their uptime/productivity model.
Customer Owned Repair
The second key component in a cost-effective Repair Services program, customer owned repairs, are targeted for those parts that are covered by onsite inventory, can be categorized as stock replenishment, and therefore are able to tolerate the cycle time required for the repair process to complete the replenishment.
