The Model 2100 was designed in cooperation with industry leading prober manufacturers to deliver superior probing technology in order to adjust the operating parameters of various types of resistors.
This collaboration resulted in a robust kinematic mount design for mating the trim head to the prober, providing high accuracy and vibration resistance.
The trim head can be disengaged for stand-alone prober operation, providing maximum flexibility for manufacturers wrestling with changes in their production mix.
Built to maximize both flexibility and performance, the Model 2100 architecture and high-performance subcomponents combine to offer up to twice the throughput of competing solutions.
-
The 2100 is available with ESI's patented 1.3 μm laser trimming process or with the 1.0 μm laser option for customers who have existing processes designed around that wavelength.
-
The 1.3 μm wavelength significantly improves the process window and virtually eliminates the opto-electric effects that plague conventional laser trimming processes.
-
The 1.3 μm advantage is increased trim accuracy and up to 50% higher throughput than the older 1.0 μm process.
