Model 753 Array Termination System

Model 753 has been designed to meet the newest requirements for terminating the array components of today and tomorrow.

The 753 incorporates two key features, which significantly increase the overall yield of the termination process:
  • A new patented belt design, with a diamond shaped opening, retains the components gently yet securely by its corners.

  • The first benefit is the self-centering of the chips upon loading, which delivers improved bandwidth accuracy and registration.

  • The second benefit is the greatly reduced opportunity for damage to termination bands during ejection, as there is no contact between the belt and the sides of the components.

  • A new eject mechanism is synchronized to the vement of the belt, to ensure accurate alignment between the belt openings and the ejection wheel, resulting in clean, damage-free ejection.

The 753 retains the proven features of the 752B, such as the high-efficiency loading mechanism, belt registration mechanism, and high temperature pre-heater.

The new and existing features combine to result
in the most accurate and highest yield array termination process for array components.
